“Toys are used like words by children, and play is their language” – Gary Landreth
Hey everyone! I’m Gabby, a compassionate, dedicated, and creative counselor specializing in supporting individuals through life’s challenges. With a focus on both children and adults, I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where personal growth and healing can flourish.
For children, I utilize play therapy to help your little ones work through whatever may be troubling them. I love working with children experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, grief, divorce-related issues, transitions, adjustment, and trauma resolution. Implementing a child-centered approach, strengths-based language, and creative interventions, I am passionate about creating a safe, therapeutic environment for children as young as 3 years old.
For adults, I offer a supportive environment to explore and address various life struggles, whether it’s managing stress, relationships, life transitions, or mental health concerns. I believe in the power of art, storytelling, and innovative techniques to explore and heal emotional wounds. Using a blend of expressive arts and mindfulness, I help individuals tap into their creativity when they can’t seem to find the words to process experiences. My goal is to empower adults to find new perspectives through the transformative process of creative expression.
I earned my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and maintain all necessary licenses to practice as a provisionally licensed professional counselor. I am committed to providing a confidential, empathetic, and personalized counseling experience fro every client. If you’re seeking support for yourself or your child, I’m here to help you on your journey through healing and personal growth.
