    Jessica Gibson, LPC-S, NCC, CFRC

    Co-Owner | Program Development | Clinical Consultation

Jessica Licensed Professional Counselor and co-owner of Counseling & Recovery Group (CRG). Her work reflects CRG’s mission of supporting individuals, children, and families affected by addiction, trauma, and high-conflict experiences through experiential, family-system-focused care. At CRG, Jessica’s primary role centers on program development, implementation, clinical consultation, and supervision, with a strong preference for experiential approaches that promote engagement, regulation, and relational healing. She specializes in work with veteran and first responder communities and maintains a small clinical caseload via telehealth while dedicating the majority of her time to program development and systems-level work.

A clinician since 2015, Jessica maintains licensure across Louisiana, Texas, Wyoming, Virginia, and Florida. Her background in direct clinical work with complex trauma and addicted family systems informs her continued preference for experiential therapies in both clinical practice and program design.

Jessica also serves as the Clinical Director for the Acadiana Veteran Alliance (AVA), where she oversees the HEAL Program. In this role, she provides clinical oversight and consultation for a program that connects veterans to trauma-informed counseling and Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB) treatment, emphasizing coordinated, culturally competent care.

Jessica is a founding partner and program developer for P4 Mafia and i2 Tribe, initiatives focused on strengthening mental health access and community-based support for veterans and first responders. In these roles, she contributes to strategic program design, leadership development, and systems-level advocacy aimed at improving how care is delivered to populations impacted by operational stress and trauma. Her work emphasizes practical implementation, cultural competence, and building sustainable pathways that bridge gaps between traditional services and real-world needs.

Jessica’s commitment to this work is deeply influenced by her own family’s story of recovery, shaping her understanding of resilience, relational healing, and the importance of community-based support. She also brings extensive yoga teacher training into her professional lens, offering a practical, grounding mind-body awareness when it supports clarity, regulation, or connection.

Outside of work, Jessica values time with family and friends, especially when it involves good food, meaningful conversation, and travel.

In addition to her clinical and supervisory roles:
