Experiential Therapy
Experiential Therapy uses expressive tools such as movement, art, and play to process the experiences that show up in therapy. It works well with individual and group therapy intensives, and can also be incorporated into traditional therapy sessions. Experiential Therapy allows clients to move through difficult memories and explore unhelpful life patterns without having to retell painful experiences.
Unlike traditional talk therapies, experiential therapy encourages clients to actively participate in various activities, exercises, and role-playing scenarios to explore and address emotional issues, trauma, and interpersonal challenges. Clients are encouraged to express and process emotions through various activities, promoting a more direct and immediate experience of their feelings. Through experiential activities, clients often gain a heightened awareness of themselves, their reactions, and their relationships, fostering personal growth and insight.
