“Coparenting Do’s and Dont’s: a Series”

Class Day/Time: Thursdays at 10am Central

Class Description: Presenters Melissa Cavanaugh, LPC and Emma Noel, PLPC are both counselors at Counseling and Recovery Guidance. Melissa and Emma have extensive experience working with children that have been affected by divorce. They have put together this series of community classes to help families in this difficult transition and aid parents with the skills necessary to coparent effectively. These courses are open to families that are currently navigating separation, mental health professionals, or anyone in the community that wants to learn more.

Topics that will be discussed in series may include but are not limited to:

1. House rules

2. Transitions

3. Modeling communication in front of children

4. Triangulation and Parent alienation

5. Holiday schedules

6. Secrets and why they aren’t helpful
