“Mental health is not a destination, but a process. It’s about how you drive, not where you are going.” – Noam Shpancer.

Therapy is a brave place to find yourself. I believe we all hold the answers within us; and therapy is a process that helps guide us to the awareness and acceptance of those answers. More often than not, our family history and lived experiences teach us how to survive rather than thrive, which over time can impact the quality of our life journey.

My knowledge is rooted in systems, generational trauma, and lived environmental factors. We will explore what your collective history has taught your body and mind; therefore, discovering which patterns and belief systems you would like to change for a healthier, and more authentic version of yourself.

I consider myself a life-long student and look forward to the required continuing education each year, so that I can provide the most informed care to my clients. I am currently certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (talk therapy for emotion regulation), trained in Integrative Mental Health (incorporating lifestyle choices to impact the quality of our mental health), trained in Critical Incident Stress Management (provide crisis intervention to law enforcement), and most recently trained in Brainspotting Phase I (a trauma modality similar to EMDR).

I have spent most of my career working with incarcerated individuals, severe mental illness (Schizophrenia/Bipolar), severe trauma, and personality disorders. I do not like to focus on diagnoses, but rather us collaborate on identifying and changing the habits and behaviors that you find are not serving you, in the life that you want. Together we will change the way you drive in your process of life.
