Peyton Corwin, M.S., PLPC

Hi, I’m Peyton!
I’m here to help you navigate through difficult life transitions and guide you on your journey of self-discovery.
As a more direct talk-therapist, I can offer you a no ‘BS’ safe space for you to explore the darkest parts of yourself and the effects of life’s challenges on your daily and longterm outlook, relationships, and self-image. I am focused on meeting you where you’re at, while also providing you the space to explore your past, present, and future so that you may grow to know and understand yourself more fully. My intention is to offer you the time to explore the various parts of yourself that make up YOU so that I may help you discover the paths to personal growth and change that will lead you towards the life you desire to live. My hope is that through working together, you gain the self-confidence and therapeutic skill set to navigate through your life challenges with courage and purpose.
I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I am currently provisionally licensed in the state of Louisiana and offer individual (12+), couples, family, and group counseling. I take an integrative approach to counseling, pulling from a variety of modalities, though primarily lean into person-centered, internal family systems (IFS), behavioral (CBT, DBT), and mindfulness based approaches.
I know reaching out to a therapist can be scary, but I hope you are encouraged to try out the process and grant me the honor of helping you help yourself. Therapy has been life changing for me, and I know it has the potential to do the same for you.
