Alexis Broussard, LCSW
Hi there! My name is Alexis, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am passionate about helping children feel safe, supported, and understood as they work through big emotions and challenging life experiences through play.
I primarily work with children (ages 6+) who may be struggling with anxiety, emotional dysregulation, behavioral challenges, or self-esteem concerns. While my main focus is working with children, I also enjoy supporting teenagers and young adults navigating anxiety and relationship concerns.
I work closely with parents throughout the process, offering guidance and support to help you feel more confident in responding to your child’s emotional needs and behaviors. You don’t have to figure it out alone.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important part of therapy, as it creates a safe, supportive, and empathetic environment where growth can occur. I love helping clients build self-compassion and bring more joy and peace into their lives along the way.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Mississippi and my Master’s degree in Social Work from Tulane University in 2021.
Outside of my work, I enjoy being in nature, taking long walks, and spending time with my family. I love the work that I do, and if you are thinking about reaching out, I would be grateful for the opportunity to connect with you.
