Jessica Gibson, LPC-S
As an experiential counselor, I am dedicated to guiding individuals, couples, and groups on a transformative journey of self-discovery, healing, and personal growth. With a passion for the therapeutic potential of immersive experiences, I empower clients to navigate life’s challenges, explore emotions, and build meaningful connections. I am passionate about and specialize in families affected by addiction, and have gained knowledge in substance abuse recovery, codependency, 12-step recovery, high conflict and trauma, and treatment placement.
My goal in opening Counseling and Recovery Guidance was to create a safe space where clients could explore themselves and discover their strengths. I wanted to create a private outpatient counseling experience for those affected by addiction because I felt this was lacking in our community. I truly feel you are not responsible for what happened to you, but you are responsible for what you do with it.
I like to take a client-centered approach to my counseling practice, tailoring treatment plans with clients to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual. I think we are each the expert of our own experience.
I try to create a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to explore their emotions and experiences. I use immersive experiences and activities to facilitate personal growth, self-awareness, and emotional healing. My approach operates on the principle that individuals can gain profound insights and make positive changes by engaging in hands-on, interactive, and experiential activities.
