“Toys are used like words by children, and play is their language” – Gary Landreth

Hey everyone! I’m Gabby, a compassionate, dedicated, and creative counselor specializing in supporting individuals through life’s challenges. With a focus on both children and adults, I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where personal growth and healing can flourish.

For children, I utilize components of Synergetic Play Therapy® to support emotional regulation and nervous system integration. Through play, I help children process their experiences, build resilience, and develop the skills needed to navigate life’s challenges. My approach focuses on strengthening the child’s ability to regulate their emotions while fostering a deeper connection between their body and mind. By creating a safe and engaging therapeutic space, I empower children to explore their feelings, express themselves, and develop lasting coping strategies. I love working with children experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, grief, divorce-related issues, transitions, adjustment, and trauma resolution. Implementing a child-centered approach, strengths-based language, and creative interventions, I am passionate about creating a safe, therapeutic environment for children as young as 3 years old.

For adults, I offer a supportive environment to explore and address various life struggles, whether it’s managing stress, relationships, life transitions, or mental health concerns. I believe in the power of art, storytelling, and innovative techniques to explore and heal emotional wounds. Using a blend of expressive arts and mindfulness, I help individuals tap into their creativity when they can’t seem to find the words to process experiences. My goal is to empower adults to find new perspectives through the transformative process of creative expression.

I earned my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and maintain all necessary licenses to practice as a provisionally licensed professional counselor. I am committed to providing a confidential, empathetic, and personalized counseling experience for every client. If you’re seeking support for yourself or your child, I’m here to help you on your journey through healing and personal growth.
